From Pam Ayres to John Cooper Clarke via Wordsworth, there’s something for everyone. Bring along some of your favourites to read to the group or to have read by someone else. Why not try writing your own poem be it a limerick or something longer, there’s a prize for the best one. Don’t fancy that? Just come and listen. There’s a poets’ lottery in the interval when light refreshments are served. If you haven’t been before, come and try it, it would be great to see you.
